transport & access to services

The issue of Transport was not identified as one of the Partnership’s Six Themes, nevertheless it is a major component in the make-up of an area such as Tendring.

A high quality public transport system is an integral element in both the retention and the attraction of businesses to Tendring.  Together, an expanding business sector allied with an efficient transport network will greatly assist in the regeneration of the Tendring area.

Public transport provision is a major player in the ‘Green’ issues that now and in the future will need to be addressed to help Tendring become a cleaner and nicer place to live and do business in.

who is involved?

The transport issues in Tendring District are overseen by the  Transport & Access Services Action Group. This body is comprised of people drawn from Public Service, Charity and Voluntary sector organisations.  Individual members of the Action Group can be found by clicking on the following link.  TASAG
